Rule 2 Registration
As per the vote of
the membership in 2006, references to gold seal and blue seal
registrations were removed.
Section 1
reorganized the registration requirements for improved clarity.
Section 2 A changed
the “#” to an “X” as per the vote of the membership in 2006.
Section 2 B allows
for various colors of the seal to avoid requiring members to replace
older certificates.
Section 2 C allows
the “#” to have the same meaning as the “X” to avoid requiring members
to replace older certificates.
Section 2 D adds
information to the certificate of registration to assist the breeder in
determining eligibility for Morab registration.
Section 5 removes
some requirements for transported semen.
Rule 14 Fees
Under Voting
membership, Family Annual dues were clarified.
Youth Membership
dues were placed together.
Rule 15 Inhumane
Treatment Prohibited
A statement on this
topic was added.
Rule 16 Humane
Policy
This section was
added to discourage harsh treatment of animals at horse shows and other
events sanctioned by IMBA.
Note: the old
section 15, Show Rules, was removed with the intent for the Rules
Committee to prepare and organize this information in a separate
document.
