Morab horses are ideal for carriage driving.  The Morgan-Arabian parentage provides the strength and willingness to pull, while their excellent pulmonary-respiratory system and long, lean muscles dissipate heat quickly to allow traveling long distances.  Morabs are used very successfully for pleasure driving, combined driving events, carriage shows, and competitive distance driving.  Their beauty combined with a balanced frame makes them a good choice for a pleasing turnout.  Proper training and conditioning allows them to be highly competitive in the various driving sports.  Whether competing in driven dressage, trotting briskly in the cross-country class or the CDE marathon, maneuvering in a tricky cones course, or through a marathon hazard, Morabs are up to the task.  Their versatility will allow them to eagerly trot twenty miles or more over rough terrain in a competitive distance drive, and provide a leisurely ride for a family get-together or special event.
